Official: Germany to publish N Streams blast suspect when gets proofs

BERLIN, Feb 3 (PRIME) -- Germany will make its suspicions about the guilty in the sabotage on the Russian Nord Streams gas pipelines public as soon as it receives evidence, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said late on Thursday.

"Since we are a state of the rule of law, we do not publish suspicions, we only give clear information instead and only when we can prove it," he said.

In September, blasts ripped through the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines in the Swedish and Danish waters leaving only one functioning pipeline for Russian gas exports.

Operator of Nord Stream said that it could not predict the time when gas transportation will resume until the damage assessment is completed.
